Beer=Art II

Stencils, Paint and Paper & Craft Beer Tasting

Welcome to the beer homage project honoring the Swedish craft brewery Omnipollo and their visual artist Karl Grandin!

During our 2 hour acrylic paint workshop, you will dive into the psychedelic world of Omnipollo. Inspiration will be everywhere – on the walls of the bar, rugs, moving animations, cans and Karl’s new book that you’re invited to flick through. Stencils inspired by the brewery’s imagery are specially made for this event and available for you to use in order to create your vibrant masterpiece. Of course, all equipment is just a guidance to spark your inspiration – you are free to create your own piece of art as you desire. We will use brushes and markers and paint on a 240x330mm high quality acrylic paper. Although acrylic colors dry fast, dryers will be prepared for your usage. Finally, to round your project, there will be a chance to additionally purchase a frame and be able to hang your painting immediately.

You will be welcomed with a special beer cocktail to enjoy while you’re discovering the space of Omnipollos. During the event, you will be presented with three mouth-watering craft beers and hear the story of the brewery, their founders Henok Fentie and Karl Grandin and their amazing beers. Finally, you’ll try our beer slushy and once again surprise yourself of the vastness of craft beer. Still and sparking water will be available pro bono, as well as diverse snacks. In case you want to consume additional drinks, or if you fall in love with some beers you have tried, you are very welcome to purchase them at the bar!

Don’t procrastinate. Be a part of this unique experience that will bring pleasure to several of your senses and change how you perceive the world of beer, art and bar culture.
